The system has crashed multiple times since this morning's experiment and backing out the Safari extensions did not resolve it. The crash comes at start-up or shortly thereafter and even Safe Mode doesn't prevent it.
The system will go back to the Apple Store or I will just to talk with them but I really don't see what they can offer. Yosemite 10.10.3 is the only way to use Final Cut 10.2 and 10.2 is the only way I can open my videos.
