Yosemite 10.10.3 Success - iMac Did Not Crash During the Test Period

If you think of operating system software in the context of olive oil, the Yosemite 10.10.3 system was the extra virgin variety as that's exactly the system I sent to the Apple Store for their review.

However, Apple updated five components of Yosemite yesterday.  Two applied directly to Yosemite, another updated Safari to 8.0.6, and there were some raw graphics updates.  The first two have a high probability of relevance to my situation and the others not so much.

Given the extra virgin system survived the night, moving forward is warranted and the first move has been to install the updates from Apple.  The rationale is this remains strictly within the Yosemite environment which is now in a somewhat virginal status but that's acceptable as there is no third-party software to create any distraction if there's a failure.

Confidence grows and testing continues.  The pace will not increase as there's no reason to believe the problem was corrected by the maintenance installed today.  We know definitely Apple is addressing the problem and that's excellent.  Whether it works, we don't know.  Therefore, do not re-install everything en-masse and continue as planned with testing.

Testing proceeds apace and with increasing optimism.

So far, this is the best news there has been in weeks apart from hearing from Cat and also the Mystery Lady when she talked about a poem for "The Mountain Storm Park Reefer Junkie Ravens" (it may not seem it but it's a true story so, of course, it needs a song).
