Corporate America Eats Frisch's Big Boy

Frisch's mainliner was the place for teens for well over fifty years in Cincinnati and the name Frisch's may vary from place to place but the Big Boy was always the same.

Everybody in Cincinnati goes to Frisch's at least once and, more than likely, many times.

Frisch's Big Boy has now been eaten by some horrendous corporation to be added to its megalopolis of corporate kibble.  They say they will continue local operations but that always means until it dies and all the people who thought Frisch's was forever will be out of their jobs.

This is one more piece of Americana being thrown into the corporate stew where it will come out Mao Tse Tung grey ... if it comes out at all.  If you disagree, talk to me about Monsanto.

Frischs has been owned by several differnt investment groups for over 20 years
The Maier family hasnt had controlling interest since the SR dad had so much trouble playing the horses which included running a borse farm with track included
So relax the Big Boy wil still be around And pumpkin pies will still be fresh duringbthe holidays

That's good news as it'd be tragic if the Big Boy gets melted down for plastic. That hot fudge cake they make is the most demonic of all candy treats and I loved them.

(Infer editorial on disappearing Americana as I even treasure the painted barns with those huge Mail Pouch advertisements)
