More Cops in Fort Worth than House of Marbles has Tiddlywinks

On two ten-minute drives yesterday (i.e. there and back), I saw more cops than on the entire expedition between Greece and Scotland, nearly three thousand kilometers.  They were sitting in obvious traps in their parked cruisers and you could see them every few blocks, frequently on the same one.  What they hoped to accomplish with such a highly-visible presence other than reinforcing the image of an out-of-control police state is unknown.  (Amazon:  Tiddlywinks from House of Marbles)

The reason for so many cops is they give useless high school kids the military but they come out of it just as useless as they went into it because they have no useful skills.  Maybe they can take apart on M-16 or the modern equivalent and put it together in less than a minute but this doesn't impress people too much in an employment office unless you're applying to be a merc with one of Dick Cheney's companies.

A good many ex-military become cops and America is driving so many kids into this so-called volunteer army / goon squad that they've destroyed a large segment of the generation, leaving them with entirely inadequate survival skills anywhere outside the military.  After they are released, the military takes them home and dumps them, saying only, "Well, at least we didn't get you killed."

Then they cut them off altogether ... unless they become cops.  The GOP is actively working to destroy the Veterans Administration as they don't give any kind of a rat's ass what happens to veterans, they only need them as long as they shoot people of any color but white.

If you like to screw with people over surveillance ... and sometimes I do ... wear an action cam and go anywhere with a number of people.  Observe the reactions as you walk about.  All of them are under constant government surveillance because there are government and commercial cameras everywhere, although not as many as in UK, but they freak if they think you are filming them.  You may find it novel.  It's interesting to see one time but not more than once as it's not so fulfilling to see people so scared.

If they complain, ask them if they feel safer and stand back for comedy.  You may get hit.  I am not going to do this as you already know the answer, yes?
