Survive or Die, Bitch - I Want to See It

The temptation to load Every Damn Thing onto this machine and go straight for the Big Prize gets stronger with each moment.  Survive or die, bitch.  Show me what you've got.

All the cowboys are sitting on the fence are waiting to ride and there's one bad thing when cowboys can't ride, they start playing with their guns.  We don't want to be talking about guns so we need to get those cowboys back on their horses.

On balance with cowboys shooting guns is the current knowledge we have or at least the high confidence that hardware did not cause the intermittent crashes.  We have rapidly growing confidence Yosemite 10.10.3 did not cause it either.  10.10.3 plus supplemental updates runs right now and is rolling up some serious confidence hours.

Therefore it has to be software and one of those cowboys on the fence is actually Henry Fonda (i.e. the one in "Once Upon a Time in the West" as Frank was the baddest bad guy I ever saw him play).

The cycle time on updates is down to eight hours as that was the longest I saw the iMac run without a crash after Yosemite 10.10.3.  The overnight test last night was to see it go significantly longer than that and what will happen.  As it turned out, nothing happened so, at that level, the problem is solved.

Maybe a brief apology at the pace of this stage but I don't in a million years of sleeping with New York City bedbugs want to go through again what happened in the last few weeks.

So ... staying cool with it ... not liking it but we cool, we cool.  (Richard Pryor to Gene Wilder as they walked to their jail cells and considered how many of the convicts watching them were likely to kill and/or rape them)

The supplemental updates were installed around six a.m. so that means there is a go for additional changes at 1400.  OK.  I can go back to FlightCtrl HD as I've landed over 3500 aircraft now.  I still can't crack one hundred landed in a game, tho.  This is why I hate computer games ... I will play them.
