Well, maybe not queens ... they're gigantic floating monstrosities is what they are!
This is the view on rounding the first corner into Katakolon. Keep in mind the town has a population of only six hundred and each cruise ship may carry a thousand or more passengers. It's like going to the circus every time one of them comes to port.
As soon as Cat hears 'circus' she is interested so we rode on.
Here is a view across the Katakolon Town Square. There weren't many people about as the ships were already boarding to leave.
So let's see them up close.
They're magnificent, hideously ugly but magnificent nevertheless! The one closest is Costa Fascinosa and the one in the distance is MSC Fantasia.
The Captain must feel one step removed from godhood on that bridge. Even Starship Enterprise didn't have anything that cool!
