On the Aftermath of Boston and Waco

The news media outlets will be licking the blood of the victims of the bombing for as long as they can possibly get away with it and this has brought out the AHD (Aluminum Hat Brigade) in full force.  There are conspiracies on top of conspiracies and, oh God, weren't this little terrorist bastards as brilliant as international diamond smugglers.  Well, no, they were two punk-ass kids who got their information from the Internet where it is all readily-available to other punk-ass kids.  Why they want to blow things up, shoot up schools, or any of those satanic types of things is anybody's guess ... except for the news media as their guesses make them a handsome profit.

What you saw in the capture of those punk-ass kids was the best of America.  What you will see in their 'disposal' is America at its worst.  The bloodlust is running high and people are screaming for vengeance which will accomplish, as always, nothing but satisfying the megalomaniac dreams of the vicious punk-ass bastard who did it and will further the endless cycle of violence.

However, there is a vast contrast between what two punk-ass kids with bad attitudes did, no matter how vicious, relative to what happened at West Fertilizer in Waco, Texas, where they were storing 1350 times the legal limit of ammonium nitrate without reporting it to the Department of Homeland Security.  There is a cacophony of screams for vengeance for the Marathon bombers but does anyone even know the names of the bastards who owned and ran with willful negligence the West Fertilizer company.  So I'll tell you:  Donald Adair.  But he said he's sorry.  (Reuters:  Texas fertilizer company didn't heed disclosure rules before blast)

Fuck this!  Fuck the drama, the hoop-la, and the shabby bullshit reporting that takes place with this type of thing.  Donald Adair demonstrated the most egregious kind of corporate terrorism and in the same state as Texas City where there were the most destructive ammonium nitrate explosions in history.  The explosions were so violent that many of the dead were never even found.  (Wiki:  Texas City disaster)

So, sure, draw and quarter this kid in Boston and pretend this creates some kind of safety.  It will do nothing of the kind particularly given the abuses by corporate America in its blind pursuit of profit.

Peace.
