My reason for going down to Katakolon some mornings is it's very close and there's a marvelous bakery. When I arrived I saw one cruise ship docked and a tug boat pulling another one into port. I had neglected to bring the camera so this is the return trip.
Here's a baby cruise ship and a Big Daddy cruise ship:
The Silver Wind is tiny next to the Norwegian Jade but you could drop a tour bus on the front of either one of them and never even notice it.
So there are three perspectives on gigantic. The tour buses look like toys but they still look pretty huge when they come up next to the scooter.
The cafes on the waterfront are marvelous and many people don't go to Olympia at all but rather enjoy the day drinking coffee and / or ouzo in the sunshine. That's the Hotel Oriznos on the top of the hill and the view from up there is spectacular. You can find out more about all of this using the map at Katakolon News.
There's no way Cat is going to ride past anything that has to do with the circus so here is a ferris wheel.
It's still not quite warm enough to tempt people but that day is coming quickly.
Just about any day is warm enough for a swing set or a slide.
Yesterday the kids were playing soccer also but today it looks like the Baby League. They don't do much but they do have a lot of fun running around.
Tomorrow will almost certainly be an expedition for Chlemoutsi Castle. I've never seen anything close to a castle before so I'm definitely intrigued and definitely there will be pictures, most likely video as well. I love adventures which is good as so does Cat!
