Benno Sands and the Cheerleaders Bring Michael Jackson to the MusikCircus

Benno Sands and the Cheerleaders form a troupe of at least twenty performers to provide the most spectacular stage show I have ever seen in Second Life.  Their show is so complex and tightly-arranged that they can't do them that often but they do try to get back to Cat's Art MusikCircus about once a month.

It was only from this far back that there was any chance of getting them all into the picture!  This was their Michael Jackson show and here he is:

sann Release played Michael Jackson and I apologise that my notes are not good enough to accurately tell you who danced with him.

The attention to detail is extraordinary and the dance steps were incredible.  Benno Sands and the Cheerleaders really did Michael Jackson proud last night.

While Benno Sands and the Cheerleaders do not actually perform the music, that's not the point.  They give much more than a tribute show as the whole revue is a tightly-choreographed event that is absolutely dazzling to watch!

Michael was backed by a chorus of yet more dancers!

From left to right, Sandra Kitrin Freschi, Teresa Freschi, ???, CHIARA  (I don't know why Second Life sometimes puts up question marks for someone's name but that's what happened with the girl who is second from the right.  Sorry!)

You might wonder why is there a head in the middle of the floor and that belongs to the sax cat, the tipjar for the MusikCircus.  The stage was so big that it almost completely ate him!  However, you can see the War Child and the UNICEF boards, both of which are for causes very important to Cat and the MusikCircus.

Overlooking the band would be quite a mistake as some may not know that Eddie van Halen played lead guitar on "Beat It."  The man's genius was very well-respected and a great many musicians wanted to record with him.  Here's the rhythm section:

From left to right, Dorina Landar, Babilionto Karu, Carey Chenault (on drums), Graf von Paternion, Timbaly Veeper.

And here's the band:

From left to right, Anna Leider, Benno Sands, Mihaly Apfelbaum

Meanwhile, Sabah Back was up on the trapeze!

And Sister Julie the Poet was up there too!

This vantage point affords an incredible view of the show.  From this you can see that even with all the pictures I've shown, I still didn't get all of the performers!

This was, by far, the most spectacular performance I've ever seen in Second Life.  Congratulations to Benno Sands and all his Cheerleaders for a really marvelous job!

Oh yes, Cat and I danced!

Cat and I are down on the bottom right.  There were so many people attending that it was quite difficult to get a shot of just the two of us.

I did get a close-up shot of Cat and here she is:

Dance, dance, dance, beautiful lady!

No, it's not over!  After the show, we danced with Michael Jackson!

How many people can tell you they have danced in a Conga line with the King of Pop!  What a Night!
