Going to Windows is pointless. Sony Vegas is an adequate video editor but hardly breathtaking. It would be a giant step backwards.
Apple doesn't appear willing to own the problem. I'm not willing to abandon the videos. As it stands, there's no way forward and no way back.
It may well be the only answer is to shut down the iMac and just leave it down until Apple comes out with OS X 10.10.4 as maybe that one will work whereas 10.10.3 sure as hell does not.
The extreme alternative is to bag it and head for Germany. Even though extreme, it's a great alternative as there's no reason to stay here. It's boring, they shoot each other, and high culture is Taylor Swift.
Note: GOP loves Taylor Swift. Unknown why. Seems any generic young blondie would do as they all sound the same.

Meanwhile, time to kick back for some Chicagosax at the Circus as he has been playing a long, long time and he is cooler than cool. He started The Missing Links that became Chicago. Just stuff he does, you know. Plus hanging with the Stones. You know, little stuff like that.
