CNN Tries to Make Baltimore the New Watts

When CNN isn't spewing ludicrous fabrications, state-sponsored pro-cop articles, or generally serving as a corporate lapdog, it will try to create news where it isn't and will do it in the most tasteless way of any news medium in human history.

The travesty of sensationalism that has become the once mighty global empire of news built by Ted Turner is or should be an embarrassment to anyone who remembers.  There was a full page graphic for the Earthquake in Nepal with 96-point purple headlines (figuratively).  They have just done the same again with a riot in Baltimore.

CNN licks its lips for a new Watts in the same way as right-wing extremists lick their lips over murdering the Boston Bomber.  There is some comedy, however, as the behavior of states, particularly Oklahoma and other Midwestern states which have been so brutal and callous in their executions that reputable drug manufacturers won't sell drugs which could be used for execution to U.S. buyers.  Their position is America has killed enough ... and many times over.

Always CNN is there because they will show you every drop of blood and every hint of human suffering.  The more blood, the better as that's what sells whatever the hell CNN sells.  CNN promotes blood, death and war for the same reason as William Randolph Hearst:  it sells newspapers.

Baltimore isn't the new Watts ... but ... the next one will be if cops don't stop shooting people.  Those flatfoots would do well to keep in mind they are vastly out-numbered and they wouldn't stand a chance if people really did want to kill them as they claim.  What is, for me, an amusing irony is that cops have been more defensive of ownership of private weapons than the NRA and they're the ones who will be shot by them.  Irony is a bitch sometimes.

This is precisely how the Forefathers intended guns to be used, in defense of the people against an overbearing state.  If I'm putting a bet on the winner of this one, it won't be on the cops.  I'll be betting on the Forefathers whom the cops consistently ignore.
