Since "Flight of a Passing Fancy" is (sob) no more, how about we skip the preciously pretentious names and get to the beef. It's about dragon beef, specifically. "Ride the Dragon" is the Big Magilla and I have never, ever worked so hard on EQ for something.
This takes eponymous about as far as it goes. There will be the "Ride the Dragon" song from the "Ride the Dragon" CD and it will be featured on the Ride the Dragon podcast. Ultimate Eponymity!
(Ed: you could get DRAGON tattooed on your ... )
Uh, thanks.
The title of the disc has been raised and that's not to draw attention to Nipple Girl but rather away. When the title is below, she's in-your-face Nipple Girl but the title moves and it draws your eye even if only out of curiosity. Photography is partly about the picture and mostly about how your eye moves as it looks at it.
There is the latest mix for "Ride the Dragon" as well but the trick isn't making some cool change to the EQ and thinking, oh yeah, you are so damn clever. That isn't the clever part as that comes when you listen to it and think, yeah, this be cool ... and you don't screw with anything. One pass is logged like that.
There's one residual piece of buggage as it's necessarily distorted because it's the nature of making a guitar sound like a wolverine after someone just stole his woman. He doesn't play any blues, he goes out to fuck up some wolverine who took that woman. However, within the distortion is a not a normal component of two wolverines ripping each other to bits but rather plain old distortion. That's getting to the point of a snipe hunt as how do you make distortion not so distorted and still have it remain (cough) distorted. Yep, that's a snipe hunt.
So, a few more passes without change to it and I'll start thinking, maybe ... maybe it's final.
Look at the bright side ... only seven more songs on the CD before it's ready to release (laughs).
(Ed: you will do this on all of them?)
If necessary, yes. If they're not worth that work then they should not be on there. You've got to be ruthless with this stuff. It's not going to hurt anyone else's feelings when you kill one as they don't even know about it so suck it up, bitch!
