Lasers, MIDI, and Guitars - Putting them Together

MIDI is verified to be going through the guitar synthesizer to the Korg synth.  This should come up to full working order when the cable arrives, hopefully on Monday.

The laser/light controller supports MIDI and, I believe, will respond to notes 0-127 on whatever channel is connected.

Putting those together, it would be possible to control the light patch from the guitar without touching anything else.

Something I've dreamed since I was a kid was playing music in light and this appears to offer the potential to do it on a limited basis insofar as light changes will be in-sync with any note change but the lights won't do anything particularly intelligent with it.  The extreme implementation is if it's an intelligent fixture and it remembers the notes that came before this one and it 'knows' whether this flows well or poorly.  Thus its display will reflect that.
