Crashed about ten and got up at four. The four a.m. event was a false start as I fooled myself by looking at a clock I know already is wrong. Still that's ok as this is less vampiric than in a long time and is at least in the general area of local time.
I repeat again it's not Cat causing my hours to get jacked as she won't be online for hours yet.
Yesterday was good for music in terms of reviewing structure, intention, and getting up to shake it. There is a very strict No Wobble Rule in effect as you wobble and you sit down ... right now. That worked well as I got in three segments of playing and each moved "The Cat in the Space Between Things" closer to being a real entity rather than some stoner crap in a drug-addled mind.
The lights are positioned better but it's still not final and this is shaping up to be the Magnum Opus. The lights are crucial as recording a cool audio set does me no good if the video is no good. I would have to chuck it if it has bad video as the finger sync is important to me. If all I have to do is thrash the air with my hands then I might as well admit I really am Lather.
So the operative word is discipline and anyone who has heard Fripp with his circle of guitarists has heard that word used most emphatically.
OK, so a bit of that is not such a bad idea and it's not as I'm pleased with the preliminary results. Klonopin is used minimally and I've already said I'm afraid of the stuff. If you want to read from someone who absolutely hates Klonopin, read up on Stevie Nicks sometime. (Klonopin and Clonazepam are the same thing. Very easily obtainable with or without scrip and very strongly prone to creating dependency in you.)
Screw Klonopin, what happened to "The Laughing Gecko Song?"
I know exactly what it is and exactly how it goes even if I don't have any idea of a single note I will play. Getting this one online is only a matter of timing as the NC-AV Rule is mandatory for everything that goes to YouTube. NC-AV in English sounds like NO CAVE.
Laughing Gecko, is there a URL or something I could post that would do better business-wise than posting your address in the video plug??
In fact, if you have some pics at 1280x720 then some of those could dissolve in and out as that guitar guy wanders around doing whatever he does. The tune from the start has been mushy gushy but this is MG with some hammerhead lead. JPEG is adequate, PNG is better, TIFF is ideal. I figure the song will run probably four to seven minutes so there's plenty of time for pics as I'm quite sure keeping the camera on me will not make me any prettier.
