The GOP Dream Date for 2016

The ideal for the GOP is when Clinton runs as the Democrat and Sanders decides to go Independent.  At that point the vote is seriously split and the Presidency is handed to any of the Three Stooges.

Clinton is about 90% cellulite cliche and 10% complete indifference to humanity ... or it's the other way around.  It doesn't make any difference.  She has built a massive machine for it but the only one of the Clintons to express any wisdom about things is her husband.  I've heard nothing but special interest throwaways from her so far.  So what if she supports gay marriage.  It will happen anyway.  So what if she supports reefer as that will happen anyway also.  When her world view is being another drone bomber, her opinions on love and spirituality don't matter to me.

The variable is whether Sanders as an Independent can be destructive enough to Clinton's campaign to improve the odds for low quality of GOP candidates and still have an actual chance of winning.  A secondary variable is would he do it knowing he would likely torpedo anything even close to a left-of-center win.

It looks like Perry has the lead for the GOP which isn't particularly good news for them as he adds more depth to the definition of 'politically hackneyed' than any second-rate Republican ever did.  He plays a stupid game as he says he wants to play with guns.  So what.  Clinton hands it to him and walks away.  He sputters in the dust.  He's easy and apparently people think he's the best they've got.

Note:  I've listed first-rate Republicans previously and Perry is definitely not in that class.

Some still blather about the Affordable Care Act but what will they do with it ... give it back to the insurance companies that have it already.  The much-anticipated collapse of Western economy due to Obamacare didn't exactly happen so that's a problem when the system more or less works and the stock market goes up.

The biggest GOP theme is wasting terrorists.  Clinton is already a confirmed bomber and Obama has been blasting so many that he even nails hostages so there's really no qualitative difference.  GOP candidates can say they will do it more but the detail on that will fall apart as the military is scattered all over the place.

Clinton kills any thought of increased belligerence easily by asking them if they would bring back the draft as how else will they get sufficient troops to engage in such aggressive military behavior.  Agreeing to a draft is political suicide for the GOP so they're screwed.  Making promises on something you obviously can't deliver is political suicide as well.  Check and mate.

The trouble with all of this is, except for Sanders, they're all poll-driven sluts and they treat this like a game, all the while striking that Presidential pose.

The premise behind all of the war talk is Middle East peace but no-one has made clear why I should care if Iran and Saudi Arabia battle.  Anyone slutty enough to sell them weapons can even turn a few dollars on it but I'm damned if I see a reason American personnel and equipment should be engaged in their religious civil war.  Yah, they're brutal.  Sometimes people get like that and, in a religious war, all you can do is get out of the way.  Who cares if Shi'a or Sunni wins.  The fate of the world doesn't hang on it and most people don't know the difference anyway.  Perhaps without outside interference they even come to a rational peace.

ISIS attracts people and conservatives ask why, why, why.  ISIS uses generally the same technique as  the Church (cough) of Scientology except in reverse.  While the Scientologists in Cincinnati would send a pair of hot babes to troll the campus for initiates, ISIS uses their stud male warriors.  The girls they attract do not seem typically to be poor and stupid but rather educated and seemingly well-off or at least not suffering.  Their disenfranchisement is from the false spirituality of the West where God is proclaimed but money is king.  The falsity is transparent and they walk.  The purity of ISIS belief, no matter how apparently depraved, is an attractant to them.  Bait them with some stud warriors and you'll get mail-order brides all day long.

The other bait and switch act is in 'getting tough with Putin' but he's already laughing.  Send Perry up against him and he will be on the floor pounding his fist into the ground because laughing is making his stomach hurt.

So, Perry, you vant to war with me, da?  I tell you what, comrade.  I drop Tsar Bomba on London.  Fifty megatons poison England for thousand years and prevailing winds off Atlantic carry fallout all over Europe.  Your move, cowboy.  I could wait until 2017 or so when the F-35 is supposed to start working as that makes it more fair.  Your call.

On second thought, comrade.  I have fastest fighters (MiG 31) and biggest bombs.  Fuck you.

The Green Party takes it seriously and has a nearly perfect platform but they have no chance against the big political machines.

Russell Brand advises when no worthy candidates are available then don't vote.  The problem is anyone intelligent enough to understand him favors the GOP by failing to vote and you still end up with a duck in the White House.

This blather is prompted by a surprising level of support when Sanders announced he would run along with an interview showing he has excellent clarity in identifying problems.

Presumably conservatives pray just now that Sanders is their new Ralph Nader as I really don't see they have a chance otherwise and I suspect some who might have run are standing back as why subject yourself to a political bloodbath.  It's a surprise Paul Ryan isn't in it and that may be the first wisdom that arrogant pup has ever shown.
