Maybe there's some reason I should be concerned about ISIS but I haven't seen one yet. They killed a bunch of second-rate spies (i.e. they got caught) masquerading as journalists. How about a hot tip on that one: maybe it's not such a good idea to hang around with ISIS. Coke dealers will mess you up so (gasp) I don't hang around with them.
The GOP keeps prattling ISIS will take over the world and I don't know about you but I've never seen one. So far the only thing that even came close to registering was the lamest act of terrorism in U.S. history with that stupid stunt in Dallas that got two idiots killed and the only terrorist effect was wounding some guy a little bit in the ankle. If that's terror then you are unbelievably easy to terrify. I'm guessing ice cream trucks must scare the bejeebers out of you.
Oh, but I'm worried for the children, they cry.
If you're worried about the children then you must have raised some weak-minded buffoons if they're so willing to throw it away and prostrate themselves in front of Muhammed. That failing isn't in ISIS but rather in you, Calhoun. Rather than asking why ISIS succeeded maybe it's better to take it home and ask where you failed.
Only maybe consider answering truthfully this time. Why did your daughters run off to ISIS?
Well. Likely we can rule out effective and nutritive parenting as a reason as surely they (cough) had plenty of that. If you try to control them then they will run. You know this already.
Example: Cat knows boys will be boys. She knows when boys are being boys they sometimes (i.e. always) like to start fires. She reasoned, since I cannot stop them from lighting fires in secret then I will have one in the open and invite all of them to burn stuff. This keeps it safe, supervised and the kids don't get it until much later that they were being monitored.
She's a wise lady. Rather than fearing her boy will play with matches and burn the house down, she taught all the young boys about fire and she did it safely. They would come over to her house and have big fun with a bonfire and the result was the happy ending you want as none of them started any destructive fires elsewhere. Her boy is grown now and does well ... but he probably still likes lighting fires ... we never get tired of that.
Cat hasn't always been country but she has always loved horses and she is definitely all country now. If you tell her she has mud on her shoes then she will only say of course there's mud on my shoes, where else would I put it. (In English that means just say one more word about the mud and I'll show you where else it can go.)

ISIS is on the pathway to destroy that which is not ISIS. I have not seen ISIS but there is alot I have not seen but I know it exists.
I am in cavor of letting the middle east fight it out and then talk to the winner about not fucking with me
Me too. The last I heard, they had opened a 262-room luxury hotel in Mosul (seriously).
Exactly on the approach. If they want to have a holy war then have a great time with it ... I'm going home.
