Star Wars Has Not Worn Off

There's a whole lot more fiction than science in Star Wars but the movies are still fun to watch and the part that never wears on me is right at the start.

For each movie there's the scrolling history of the Republic and the Rebellion which fades to a field of stars and then a flyover by a Star Destroyer.  This is a cheap P.A. here but it is loud in this small room and I've EQ'ed the bass up so that flyover shakes the room.  Things fall off shelves and house pets run in fear.  That scene hooks me and I'm ready to kick back and watch a couple of hours of idiotic intergalactic sword fights.

(Ed:  this doesn't sound like shooting a video)

Nope.  This is purging the mind of boobazoidal intransigence.  If there is to be angry in the music, it should be a worthy angry as why don't people stop killing, why are so many cars painted silver, why is it warmer in Bavaria than Texas ... important stuff.

(Ed:  you are seriously going with watching Star Wars for ritual purification?)

Right you are, guv'nor.
