Teaching Everyone to Fish

Teaching everyone to fish is the most solid lead I have on ending racism, war, etc.  When everyone has the same shot at the title, whatever the title may be, there isn't any disparity of a sexual, racial, etc nature anymore.

It seems to me it inevitably follows that resentment drops as you aren't screwed by where you were born anymore.  Resentment will still exist as some people are smarter, better-looking, or whatever and less capable people will sometimes resent their success but overall there would be much less reason for resentment if everyone has the same chance.

Given in the extremely unlikely event this ever happens, some may seek to prevent it but why would you do that unless you don't think you are able to compete.

Actually, long-term I believe it will happen as sooner or later people will get tired of all the fighting.  Maybe they never did stop fighting through history but that thinking precludes any thought of learning, evolving, growing.  That's not acceptable and it's not supported by evidence as people are physically bigger than they once were in America and that's not even such a long time.

There's no financial reason to prevent it as the cost of doing this is chicken feed compared to military budgets.  Russia rolled out its new battle tank (note: what other kind is there?) yesterday so America will have to build one, blah, blah.  There's a popular estimate going around that claims world hunger can be ended in what the military spends in a week.  That's easy to say but one thing for sure is there's no chance it costs more.

There's been one ton of really shameful stuff in our past.  Slavery, Holocaust, who knows how many truly horrific events took place in history.  How else can this ever be made anywhere close to whole without making everything even.

It's understood this is so far out in left field that it's not even playing baseball anymore but there's no reason it can't be made realistic.  It doesn't cost that much.  The military isn't really doing that much or at least not accomplishing much.  Playing games with Putin costs tons of money and accomplishes nothing.  Even if they just back off a little bit, it should be plenty of funding to make it happen.

So why should this be left field at all.  Why aren't people hungry for it either to feed themselves or to do something significant to assuage their own guilt.  That guilt is global as we have done some seriously evil stuff in history from Stalin's purges to you name it.  If happiness is the absence of anything that sucks, isn't it toward your own happiness that nothing sucks for anyone, anywhere.

When such a thing is achievable, it is staggering to me that people aren't just hungry but ravenous for it.  Or perhaps everyone is but it's subverted by the evil space aliens who appear as humans but are actually predators.

Who knows.  I really don't understand at all why it doesn't happen.  No-one really has to give up anything.  Stop wasting so much here and start using it nutritively there.  Taxes stay the same but everyone starts moving forward now.
