There's Cool and Then There's Mercedes Cool

The narrator is a little (i.e. a lot) strange but Lotho has a bit of a lust going for a Merc so maybe the Mercedes V12 S600 Coupe could satisfy it.  The car only has two doors but he's not of a time in life in which there is a need for a big ugly boat of an SUV.  The vehicle is also a major hotrod but it won't get the young hooting you for trying to be a kid again.

Ed:  that will happen with a Corvette?

Guaranteed.  Don't you remember?

Ride along as I head out on a damp and grey Saturday morning to get coffee for my wife. The Mercedes I'm driving cost $136,000.00 new in 1995.

Pop quiz:  how is this yahoo aiming the camera while he drives the car?

Ed:  I want a black one!

Everyone wants a black one.  Show a little imagination.

Note:  this is the 2015 model

Black does make it look dangerous, tho.

Ed:  it has a V12.  It IS dangerous!

Oh yeah!

I traded the MB idea for a house for Tinkerbell and my daughters to live in.
But with the Trump rally that is continuing to surge maybe I get both for free.
So while I am not to impressed with anything he has done or not done so far, he has become Santa Claus for me.

I did get the girls a MB E500 but it is an '06. I must admit that the bells and whistle are pretty cool ie back massager in the seats.

It's got a damn back massager! Dayum!

Dunno who's the Santa Claus but I did see the DOW as around 21.5K ... isn't it kind of bold to be invested in anything sensitive to swings at this stage in play??

Find me a better place to make 15% on just an index funds in 90 days.
I did take some out as I bought a house.
And still have more than I did when he was elected. There will be a pull back as more funds take profits but that will just be another opportunity to put more back in.
Even if the market sets a correction it will be higher than when he took office. I think there is too much sideline money coming back into the market to have a true correction.
The market will go up and down but 5 years from now it will be higher

Asking me for investment advice is like when the Captain of the Titanic asked me for tips on sailing.

Five years from now, the stock market is almost invariably higher, is it not??

Yes pick almost any 5year period and the market show a gain.
My first $1 went into the market when it was around 2000. So I am not very worried about a correction. It has been good to me. Real estate after the housing crash has been much better.
But as long as you spend less than you make everything will be turn out fine

I'm surprised at the year since I had the impression you were always good with it.

I liked watching at one point and called out multiple stocks I saw as hot. I said that about NETSCAPE to the investors in the Tech department ... but not one of them went for it. I concluded there were probably not too many heart takers and ball breakers in that lot. Maybe you remember how that one launched like a Saturn V.

I meant the index was around 2000 time wise was late 80s before that I didn't have two dimes to rub together

The living proof of slow and steady.

I was thinking the hare didn't win the race but saw some of the damndest things along the way and then I thought, hmm, have you ever considered taking the Fairy Princess to a rocket launch. I've only seen one but I was amazed how blowitaway it felt. Welcome to the Space Age, kid. It really isn't just something they make in Hollywood.

Now that there are happening again
It is only a matter of time.
Fairy Princess time is at a premium right now I hope to take her to Alaska this summer hoping to time it to the herring run. That way she can see the Humpback feeding frenzy and the super pods of dolphins that follow the herring.

Humpbacks! The dream for whale watching. I kept missing them around New England and it must be so grand to see them in front of you. I knew whales were big but, dayum, I had no idea how really big they are.

The Blues when they migrate north are majestic. Fairy Princess called one to the surface of the coast of San Diego. The trip was mostly dolphins but she started making whale sounds about 5 minutes later a blue surfaces and 200ft from the boat. Everyone congratulated her. She was beaming

That must have been spectacular as it sounds like it was a Dandelion Moment. Suddenly the whole boat lit up.
