Watching this while you're trippin' would be a specifically bad idea ... but ... go for it you like and find out if your twisted mind can resolve the audio sync which is way off.
There's a lot of thinking hippies were all middle class poofs but it's not true. I was but there were lots of freaks coming up from Vine Street and they weren't wearing torn-up jeans as any affectation, they didn't have anything else. It was a truly egalitarian mix as we were all illegal or trying to get that way and cops were watching everyone because they knew we were doing it and would really like to crack some heads for it. In a way it was better as cops were much more likely to crack your head with a billy club than shoot you but heaven help you if you get whacked by one.
This is a time when a cop may pull you over and, on the suspicion of reefer, order a the car stripped down to pulling the seats out of it. If they find a single seed, you go down hard which may mean up to twenty years (e.g. Texas).
Naturally, all freaks are Communists so that gave some police forces the right to shave your head when they busted you. This is a large part of why freaks loathe the buzz cut hairstyle today. In hippie days that was a punishment.
None of that applies at Itchycoo Park. Well, except for the freaks. No-one else can find it.
There's another one down El Paso way and only freaks knew where that one was. You could ride out there along the Rio Grande and then find this place well out of the city where there were freaks all over the place. No-one was getting hassled and people were trippin' all over the place. Cops must have known about it but figured it was more than it was worth to roust it so everything stayed very cool.
What did you do there?
I touched the skyyyyyy
This was the first time I found psilocybin and it was just about the coolest place to find it.
It was all too beautiful

Coolness prevails, however, as this is right from the center of the tripfest in 1967. I really don't know where the hippies where as it was all freaks on Calhoun Street, all the way from Vine to McMillan, in Cincinnati. That was the place to be for high school boys (i.e. me) and it was the cruise as it got like a beach drive in Fort Lauderdale with bumper to bumper cars from one end to the other, all of them blasting trippin' music out the windows but it wasn't the punch-you-in-the-face thump of modern cars, rather it was a freak circus, one magnificent freak circus.
High school boys come for two reasons: drugs and hippie college girls as the University was across the street. People came from everywhere.
