Fuck That. I Ain't Doin' It.

Man, you may not know the luxury and maybe you think the po' boy rationalizes but, fo' real, unless it's something I want to do, for just about anything I can say, "Fuck it, man.  I ain't doing that."

And it doesn't matter.  The only things which matter to me are things which matter one whole hell of a lot.  You don't see all of them because a lot of that isn't public and fuck that, I'm not doing it (larfs).

You really can't buy this and part of it is making the best of a really shitty situation but it's not reefer and Walt Disney which impart an appreciation of the freedom of it.  That's real.

(Ed:  freedom is an obligation)

Yup.  Got to do something with it or what good is it.

Express yourself.  Say whatever you want.  Vulgarity is wearing a tuxedo in a vulgar, brutal world.

The comedy is the ones making it vulgar and brutal are the ones wearing the tuxedos.  Ain't that a kick in the head.

Fuck that.  I ain't doin' it.

And then she said, "When I wear Chanel No. 5, I don't need anything else."

She was right.

(Ed:  make love not war?)

Remarkable perspicacity, my dear Watson.

(Ed:  when is the political part?)

It already happened.

"Logic in an Illogical World" was boffo with Cat.  That's highly swell as she won't mouth the words just to hear them.  It has played well here on the blog and that's satisfying as poems usually don't elicit much of a reaction but once in a while there will be one which clicks and that feels just swell.

Visualize the scene in "Cat Ballou" in which Lee Marvin kicks back after he gets back from the gunfight in which he shot his brother, "No-Nose" Calhoun or some such.  Cat asked how it went and Marvin kicked back slowly in his chair, took a deep breath, and let it back out with a big smile as he said, savoring every word, "Oh, it was just swell."

Note:  this is "No-Nose" Calhoun as opposed to brothers of mine who do have noses and may sometimes take things a wee bit personally thus bending those noses somewhat so this is specifically about shooting a brother who is bereft of a nose.

They called him "No-Nose" Calhoun because he had a silver nose.  None dared ask how he lost his original nose.

OH man, I did not remember that part. Love, love, love ... all you need is love ... plus biting off your brother's nose in a fight. OK, OK, I'll try to integrate that.

The kicking back scene after he shot him was movie gold and the other one was when he and the horse were drunk. Sure he can act but what was up with the horse. Priceless.
