"Illusion of Gravity" was the first DVD collection for Silas Scarborough and most of the material on it was recorded between 2003 and 2006. The songs are all experimental as I was trying everything one lone indie can do with video ... and a deranged mind, of course.
Making these videos is a large part of what led me to Second Life as generating some of the animations, even with high-powered Mac desktop machines, sometimes took days, particularly for "Anthem of the Dead." Since it was possible to capture animation in Second Life much more quickly than that, the system became of high interest ... and I've been there ever since.

The songs are shorter so there are more of them:
Thumper
It's got the beat Circe liked
Come on Home
One of my oldest songs and it comes back in a different form every so often
Searching for Tralfamador
Lots of visuals of planets and stars not likely to exist in this Galaxy
Orchids
Experimentation with morphing orchid images, one into another
Trippin' (mostly acoustic)
Just as the name says
Wind on the Waves (acoustic 12-string)
Acoustic 12-string - Music for looking East over the Atlantic
Ocean Avenue (acoustic 12-string)
Images of kits flying in a park on Ocean Avenue in Rhode Island near Newport
Aruba
Images from Aruba
Playing in the Cemetery
Cemetery images were filmed in a Civil War cemetery near Rehoboth, Massachusetts
Anthem of the Dead
My anthem to Final Cut compositing as this one has my record for how many images of myself playing different instruments could I get on the screen at the same time
