The interest in shooting a straight video didn't hold up through (cough) even one session. Nothing much happens up front and that was strange as the visuals are triggered by motion so I couldn't do anything or reveal the magic trick.
The video was created using Motion FX and it's a cool trick but the resolution is so low that there's not much more one can do with the video. Presumably Apple thinks this type of visual should be added in post-processing in Final Cut but Motion FX lets me see it while I do it and that is radically cooler. The Motion FX software is a giveaway at Apple now so the prospect of any enhancements to it do not look good. Even so, it was entertaining to try it and I hope you enjoyed the result.
