Perhaps you get tired of using the head strap to mount this camera. It gives some great video that way but it's not an angle you can use in every shoot. The cam is inside a waterproof case and the head strap uses a standard tripod mount to attach.
In the photograph, the head strap has been removed and a Grypton Pro (seriously it's name) is used to attach the camera to the end of the boom for a mike stand. This should give an excellent vantage point for focusing on the guitar.
The picks are the Reserve Red Soldiers and they get a wee bit dusty as the Cool Purple Picks are on the other end of the mike stand and they're the ones I reach first.
