"The Cat in the Space Between Things" (developing)

The experiment to see how well "The Space Between Things" would do if I changed the key to F minor worked just fine.  All that's needed now is the segue from "Cat's Symphony" and I'm thinking a phrase that's just an eight-count on drums would do just fine as "Cat's Symphony" is on F minor already and that's where "The Space Between Things" starts.  It doesn't need to be complicated, it needs to flow.

This has shifted The Plan as I wrote of the intention to do this last night so that's done and works peachy.  I'm definitely excited about where this goes but staying firm on pacing.  I guess music gets like eating these days as you can do it frequently if you like but don't eat the whole meal at once.

The physics twist is, what do you know, I find Schrödinger's cat and very much alive.

(Ed:  so this comes from your magical ability to look into the space between things and therefore see the otherwise unseeable)

Perfect.  I have no idea how it works but that sounds fine to me.

Or ... it's OUR magical ability as there is no space between things when there is only one thing.  There's already a bit on the power of collective thought so this is a manifestation of it.

So that's how you see "The Cat in the Space Between Things"

Yep, works for me.

Now to say that like I don't wear Star Trek pajamas.

So in stating The Dream, I want to find a Cat in Highly-Inexplicable Place ... sure, that's an approachable dream.

Or ... The Dream is to find a Cat ... The Space Between Things happened to be where she was.

OK, so now to write it like I'm not in high school ... and wearing Star Trek pajamas.  Every kid in high school in Star Trek pajamas is looking to find a cat.

So ... development continues.  This flow works for me.  The next move is to go back to play it make it work musically as the rhythms aren't the same so how is that going to go when it would be extremely difficult to change drum patterns.  Once that's done words will come to slap over the top.  That may sound lackadaisical but the music will tell you where the words need to go, you just need to figure out what they are.

More to come.  I'm pleased with how that went and how this develops.
