A treasure trove of most of the machinima videos from the early days in Second Life have been found. They need to be re-processed to be salvaged but they are at good resolution so there's good reason to go after them.
"There Will Come a Time" is one I have just uploaded but the recovery process did not work and the image quality is significantly diminished. I will definitely do it again another way and hopefully will get better results.
Many are obliterated and that will be an unsolved mystery as it shouldn't have gone down the way it did. So they're poofed and I'm recovering what I can. I'm not going to bother with Sasquatch or maybe just one about the reefer rabbits.
All of the videos were shot between 2006 and 2008. Between then and now data rot sets into things and now the format needs to change. Yahoo. Hopefully Final Cut can successfully import them.
