The 'Help an Old Jammer' Campaign Gets Rolling

Thanks to an anonymous donor, the campaign is now officially moving.  Please do help out if you can at Help an Old Jammer Make More Video.  No money changes hands unless the goal is reached and the number is under constant review.

The computer is $2350 and, like Harley, Apple doesn't have sales.  In my estimation, that's the best value in Apple computers as you can spend quite a bit more on a Mac Pro but and I would love to have that much power but I can get it done with an iMac.

The camera in the model is roughly $1000 when you include tripod, SD cards, etc.  However, an alternative and possibly much better approach is to get two Canon mini videocams for about $250 each.

$500-$600 is allocated to a Thunderbolt disk drive and this is required as the regulars have seen how much has been lost because there has been nowhere to put it.  Making video eats disk drives like kids eat candy bars.

That leaves $400 for additional lasers and lights.  This number is under heavy review.  If I can reduce the target and still accomplish what I'm trying to do then I will do that.
