You Say You Love Horses?

Neu Anspach, Germany

Two Iceland stallions play in their paddock near Frankfurt

Ed:  with that kind of play, I don't want to be there when they fight

Must research how much horses fight.  They must establish dominance for reproductive dominance or some such but I don't know how much combat is required to do that.

More mares are born than stallions so perhaps that's how horse genetics deals with it in reducing the potential for competition.  Unknown.

Whoops and thanks for the correction. I thought it was a general standard with herding creatures that more females are born than males in general but it seems I need a bit more research than that.
