I've been waiting on that peace train
for far too many years
but never with the thinking
or any kind of fear
it would never come
Someday that train arrives
and I may not even be there
but it's a thing for us all
I would happily share
since there's no true joy without it
there's no blessing which is real
but there's love in the peacetime
which I hope one day you'll feel
