There may be a more ludicrous gift one can find for Pope Francis but it would take some thought to come up with one.
Arnold Huckleberry: you know, Pope, buddy, playing for the NFL is so great. The game runs for three hours but there's only action for about eleven minutes of that time and they pay us millions for it. Here, have a cheap ass helmet from the Hamilton Huckleberries football team.
