If You Need to Know About Love, Ask an Orangutan


Orangutans are the best known animals in Tanjung Puting. The park was declared a national park in 1982.

These not-exactly lovely creatures are possibly the most gentle on the planet.  The Rockhouse salutes every effort toward preserving the habitat which sustains them.

There are so many extraordinary types of creatures in this jungle and all are vitally dependent on the preservation of their habitat.
