I'm somewhat apologetic regarding ignoring Comments on Ithaka just now but the same is true about the telephone since that doesn't get answered much either. There's no particular withdrawal but it was wearing Yevette to be explaining things because it was frustrating insofar as 'I knew this before I even got into this mess so why don't you know?'
I know y'all are not likely to come up with questions of that nature but the focus is on Friday graduation and not much else. Writing articles for Ithaka may seem to negate that focus but I'm listening all the time and I don't miss many calls of my name. Parents must know this game since you've got to be up before your rugrats to stay one step ahead of the little monsters.
There's no attempt at all to minimize Yevette's suffering but I do see more signs of improvement. She's been sampling the wicked ways of Twitter again and for much of this time she couldn't even handle sitting in front of her computer. Getting feisty on Twitter is an excellent sign if only for the external view; it gets larger as you get more confidence you're still in it.
The led to what say we take a holiday in a castle and, why not, some of them go for $53 a night according to the promo. (Livingly: Castles You Can Rent to Live Out Your Own Fairy Tale)
I said I didn't think that was such a good idea when there's a thousand years of ghosts inside them. This goes back to include Celtic ghosts and they had endless imagination for coming up with monsters in the dark. Or, at least, some say they're just imagined ... but people who stay in castles don't; they're running for the fuckin' lives.
Well, well, how's that for your fairy tale?
Yevette said she thought this would be grand for a rock concert and I bet it sure would ... except for the damn ghosts. You seriously don't want to piss them off.
Yah, I'd say the vibe improves. Just taking a wild guess on that but the evidence looks good.
