Jim O'Kelly was slashed in a recent article, "Best Use for Anti-Vax and a Can of Spraypaint," and this is rationalized by the potential injury to children in proclaiming false / trendy medical positions. Even in an era in which the hallmark is narcissistic self-promotion, this goes past the limits. No-one will ever be justified in self-promotion via anything injurious to children. Therefore, we conclude the tribe should reclaim his water.
Morgan Freeman isn't someone to describe because you already know the man has such love in his heart and he shares it as freely as people spread peanut butter as whom ever goes with a thin slice of peanut butter ... just does not happen. Everybody loves the man.
Morgan Freeman lost his grand-daughter over the week-end. She was murdered by a boyfriend in some kind of fit of insanity. We have no idea what it was but the clinical aspect is not important us. We thought if you spend your life giving love as he has done then it should, magically, make you safer somehow. From this, we see it doesn't change a thing.
In news this morning, we learn Jim O'Kelly lost his grand-daughter recently as well. We don't know the circumstances but again the clinical aspect is not important in this context.
Morgan Freeman has given so much in his life and we love him while Jim O'Kelly is, well, very much less than that but we would not wish this on anyone.
However, in a voodoo sense, we already did through the previous article.
(Ed: you aren't seriously taking responsibility for that??)
No. However, I am in that voodoo food chain and it's not a good place to be. I can't say Monica Lewinsky changed my life but she did give pause for thought on my own ways. Hat tip to you for that, lady.
(Ed: does this mean going soft on politicians?)
No. Shaming public figures is of no consequence to me. If you can't defend your position then step away from the stage because we need someone who can. We don't regard this as the same thing as we don't know or care if John McCain really has a green penis (i.e. as so many have said). However, we care a great deal about what he does, particularly when it's based on false premises.
