There was immense progress today but it took many hours and thinking it could be wrapped tonight was a wee bit ambitious. Everything started today is stabilized and all of that except for the Video disk is being backed-up to the Big Slurp disk.
A Big Slurp disk is always good to have as, for Mac, you can give it to Time Machine and tell it to back-up everything to it. The process is painless as the design of Time Machine is clever in how it gets the job done but remains unobtrusive to performance. A Western Digital drive with 4+ terabytes will cost about $150 on Amazon. Your own personal data is just as irreplaceable as mine and $150 relative to that is not much.
It's a beautiful screen and thanks again to the People of the Future for putting it here but I've seen enough of it for this run. Definitely needing some serious sleep before getting cracking on it again as I know I'll go after it the same way I did today. It is SO close.
Spring means Kätzchen (kittens) in Bavaria and Cat has some with serious troubles but I'm not sure how many others who are doing ok. If you have a bit of kitten love you can send to the East, this would be a great time to do it.
