Rick Perry's reaction to the Charleston murders was so cowardly he will likely be rejected not only as a Presidential candidate but also as a member of the Kingdom of the Vertebrates.
One shiftless dodge was not enough for him and he got two into this mix by saying the killings were not based on racism but rather drug-fueled delusion and that same delusion is why guns are irrelevant to the discussion. (The Guardian: Rick Perry calls Charleston church shooting an 'accident')
Rick Perry has successfully taken his position back to the Reefer Madness logic of the 1930's rather than face any real position on anything although he probably has something useless to say about the Affordable Care Act as well. After he has wasted so much of the peoples' money fighting it in Texas, it would only be a fair value if he has something logical to say rather than the same hackneyed and poorly-understood slaps at socialism he has always used previously.
So, there you have it and there's nothing more to say as he doesn't have the courage to face racism nor does he have the courage to deal with a sensible management of guns. It's no wonder he enjoys hanging about with Sean Hannity as it's not likely there is a full-size set of testicles between the two of them.
Update:
One of Rick Perry's stooges said, "From the context of his comments, it’s clear Governor Perry meant ‘incident’."
Apparently the stooge has not considered his own comments as there is no reason to listen to Rick Perry speak when someone else will tell us later what the words really meant. One of those people who tells us now what they really meant is Rick Perry who is doing an outstanding job of making a fool out of himself with this. (The Guardian: Rick Perry condemns Charleston shooting after earlier 'accident' remark)
He then launched into yet another dodge with 'the ties that bind us are bigger than racism' but there's nothing binding me to a shiftless, spineless opportunist such as he.
