Yosemite 10.10.3 is Downloading Now for the iMac

As Donald Trump says, "In for a penny, in for nine billion dollars."

The iMac slept well and should be ecstatically happy over the prospect of immediately upgrading to Yosemite 10.10.3.  The OS X upgrade is free and it's downloading now but it's six gigabytes so it will take a few minutes yet.

Some caution is still required as it would not be the first time in the gloried history of computers that two problems manifested at the same time.  That the machine ran all night when previously it wouldn't stay up for more than a few seconds is an excellent result but it's not final until the iMac is back on Yosemite 10.10.3 and does the same thing.

There's no reason to assume failure but it's prudent to be alert for it and the system will boot into Yosemite in about twenty minutes.

After I'm satisfied the system is stable at that level, installing the components such as Final Cut 10.2 will proceed quickly.

There has been one mistake so far as I permitted access to Google mail for the Mail and Calendar applications.  G+ mail is saved until the Universe dies so now that's all in the Mail application on the iMac.  That part is a hassle but the real beauty part is it synced my Calendar with Google+ and now it contains the birthdays for the thousands of online connections with Silas.  Clever move, that one (cough).

The download is nearly complete so let's get on with this.
