About once a week, an enormous number of hits come through to the blog. There's nothing Google shows me to say what they do as it doesn't show some article getting hundreds of hits all of a sudden or anything of that nature.
Therefore it's the NSA coming to look for subversion, right.
As we've seen, the NSA is just Microsoft with guns and they wouldn't know subversion if it bit them on the ass. They're just tools of the GOP and, also as we've seen, the GOP doesn't know whether to shit or shine its shoes. For eight years, Obamacare has been such an enormous deal ... and now it's apparently forgotten except for some more idiotic games with the over-the-counter hacks on the Supreme Court.
They say ISIS is such a big deal but, just as I've said all along, ISIS has another Middle East strongman who came to fill the void after the US killed or severely-weakened all the other strongmen except for the dime-store Hitler in Israel and they never managed to penetrate Iran no matter how much bloodthirsty Republicans yearned for it. ISIS has wiped out in a year what the US couldn't stop in almost fifteen years: al Qaeda.
As with Ukraine, Iran doesn't mean anything by itself. Attacking Iran would only have been another way of playing girly bumper tag with Russia.
If you want to stop the fighting in the Middle East, just maybe it would be a good idea to stop killing the only ones who can bring peace there (i.e. people of the Middle East). I've read from multiple sources in the Middle East that ISIS is brutal but they're honest. America is just brutal and ISIS can match that any time. What else would you expect when the Pentagon generals have never been any closer to combat than PowerPoint slides at West Point. Eisenhower would have the pack of them for breakfast.
Yevette is worried all the time about what the NSA will do but I keep telling her those yahoos couldn't run a dogfight. All they and the CIA do is recommend drone killings and it doesn't matter who gets nailed as no-one has any idea who they are and the White House can make up any story it likes. As we've seen for the last fifteen years, the White House has no compunctions regarding telling any tale it likes.
