After this morning, that transition is a bit difficult ... but I'm sure it's possible.

Since the attacks on military bases in the U.S. have come from either people on active duty or defense contractors, it's not clear why CNN thinks this should be of interest beyond that audience.
It's also not clear why it's news to anyone as military posts are supposed to be alert to intruders at all times. That's how we differentiate them from summer camps for kids where they can play with explosives.
2) From The Guardian we have the speculation of Escaped murderers may be 'desperate' after 10 days at large, expert says.
More likely they're relaxed as the search has been so incompetent it means the CIA must be involved and that means they've got at least ten years before anyone comes close to finding them.
They also know if the same New York penitentiary had been used for the so-called al Qaeda terrorists, all of them would have been home by nightfall.
3) Also from The Guardian, there's a report of a US drone strike in Yemen: US drone strike kills Yemen al-Qaida leader Nasir al-Wuhayshi
What we observe from this one is anyone the Pentagon pulls from an Arabic phone book is an al Qaeda leader as all of them have been thus far. There hasn't been a report yet of any people who were low-rank yokels but we whacked them because they seemed dangerous.
The ones termed 'collateral damage' weren't really women and children but actually were future al Qaeda leaders or breeders of them.
OK, then. I'd say cynicism is back to normal levels. There's not much vitriol or mayhem but those can wait for another blather, I mean, blogger.
