Traveling All the Way Around the World in the Graf Zeppelin

The Graf Zeppelin brought Old World elegance to the sky and there's some video elsewhere about the Zeppelin as a NAZI terror weapon but there's not much terror in an aircraft which can be destroyed with a Bic lighter.  However, the elegance is unmistakable.

A young lady, somewhat flip in nature, is asked by William Randolph Hearst to undertake the journey and report on her findings.  The result of that is in this video.

"All around us the virgin sky.  I am filled with wonder." - Lady Grace Drummond Hay

Note:  keep in mind very few people had been airborne at the time.  For you it's nothing but for them it was a near-miracle and for Lady Grace it was a near-religious experience.

You may find her narrative intriguing and unknown who reads it since there's no chance that audio was recorded in the early 30s.  Regardless, the delivery is compelling and it draws you to want to learn more about her.
