"The Old Man"

He's a quiet old man
who walks the middle of the road
He doesn't care about the cars
or how fast you want to go.

Go ahead and drive around
Don't wait for him to move
as he hears a different sound
and you don't know his groove.

They all call him crazy
and some think he's a pest
as the only thing he'll say is,
"Have you got a cigarette?"

He lives alone in his dreams
as he walks out every day
and he doesn't much care
what anyone will say.

The old man has his freedom
which so many just can't see
Go ahead and call him crazy
but that man is really free.
