This is a lovely example of brilliant musicianship but the brilliance, to me, is in how he restrains his play to balance the singer and that's what makes him a true virtuoso, in my opinion. You can easily hear his skill and today the virtuoso stuff so much comes out so much as endless solo jams that just make your teeth hurt. Come on, DUDE, give it a rest! It's the same reason I hate my own stuff as I never dreamed of playing solo and I'm not particularly interested in grandstanding, at least not all the time, maybe even not much of the time!
So here is a real virtuoso and he's playing with a band which, in my view, very much sets him apart.
