Ronald Reagan was in a piece-of-crap movie called "Storm Warning" from the 40s or 50s so he was definitely well aware of the KKK. Reagan didn't do anything about the KKK when the had the power to act and thus we observe the difference between Washington and Hollywood. Ideals may hold high in Tinsel Town but everything goes to shit in D.C.
