News on a Nailhead 6/13 | A Hoss, A Loss, and Some Dross ... with a Slosh #News

The Rockhouse loves it with those wacky neoliberals.  For this Hoss, Chuck Schumer, works so passionately to prevent discussions which may serve to ameliorate military tensions with Russia.  I get to feelin' so Yankee Doodle Dandy behind that shit.

RT:  US senators reach deal to stop White House easing Russia sanctions without approval

Good night, Irene.

The good Hoss

Everybody liked Hoss

For a Loss, there's archival footage of an F-35 in the news.  (The Guardian:  F-35 fighter jet performs aerial manoeuvres at the Farnborough Airshow – archive video)

Unknown why they should bother with that loser since dat bitch is grounded.  (RT:  F-35 grounding at Arizona base extended indefinitely amid hypoxia probe)

It seems there should be a bit in the Lockheed Martin Builder's Manual which advises don't cut off the oxygen to the pilot and kill him.  We're guessing they must have just missed that part.

Then the Dross ... when Donald Trump turned White House Cabinet meetings into tent revivals.  (The Guardian:  'Thank you for the blessing': cabinet takes turns lavishing Trump with praise)

No need for anything more than that since I can scroll up and down the Facebook news feed and there's one after the other slashing Trump.  It makes me want to scream, "Don't you people realize you are boring as fucking fenceposts trying to evolve into Groot?"

Sometimes I do but mostly I just split.

And how about a Slosh (it's weak but I'm going with it).

The article was written yesterday so I guess there will be time to see this although (sob) not likely for free.  These yachts are monsters and they go fast, fast, fast now so I'm getting such a vibe of all the speed you need.  There is some sport which squeaks by into coolness even without internal combustion.  These yachtsmen can definitely do it and that kind of racing was even exciting when the big monohull yachts were doing it.

Continuing with the Slosh theme, we have environmental news since Germans have invented a boat powered by alpenhorns and beer.

Tickets are $150 for spectator boats
$20 for start/finish line grandstand tickets
Free if your cruise ship in in port at the right time.
Hopefully my room is on the seaward side and I can sit on my balcony and watch.
But my luck the race will start after we leave or finish before we dock

I usually don't get off on cruise ships too much but that sounds exceptionally grand. I guess you must be headed for New Zealand since cruising Newport, US, sounds highly improbable. I spent quite a bit of time up there ... but nary a cruise ship. It's a lovely harbor, tho.
