The telephone situation is less than ideal as it's three rooms from here and there's no way to move it. There may be other wall plugs for it but I'd need a Martian Explorer to find them. Actually, if you look at it like music, it's four rooms from here (all ranges are inclusive ... going up a third means A-B-C).
What may help is my 'schedule' as I'll talk to Cat at six or seven in the morning and we will talk for some while. There are shows for some hours starting at 1300 or so. At the end of that I'm usually ready for sleep and there goes the evening. Then I wake up around this time and will usually be up all night. I've been on this schedule for years and it's very difficult to break.
Probably the best time to try to reach anyone is between about nine and noon so that's the plan for tomorrow.
I'm sorry it's difficult but it's not due to lack of interest.
(Ed: why spend time helping musicians when they don't help you?)
That's not why I do it. Theory of Propagated Goodness kind of stuff, it is. Good stuff may not come back to you but it will sure go to someone and that will keep it going.
This isn't Shirley Temple stuff as Cat and I have quite animated discussions on the matter. If I think someone is not working up to his or her ability, I definitely talk with her about it. Details of those discussions are absolutely private but I should note they go both ways as she will also hear the raves when someone goes beyond.
So the helping in the MusikCircus is important for a number of reasons even though it makes it more difficult to get my own stuff done. That bugs me sometimes but it all works out.
It's all Christmas, really. I can tell you for sure Cat has never taken a dime out of Second Life. Everything goes to the performers.
So, I try again tomorrow.
