Paris Obscur Owns At Least One Clown from Cat's Art MusikCircus

"I Own You" is a new song by Paris Obscur and it's going to drive Clown Sister Julie mad until she can get a copy of it.  Why is her personal business but the how of it is wait.  You can buy a good many of Paris' songs during his show but this one isn't available yet.

Paris Obscur is appearing every two weeks but he will not return until the New Year.  On Tuesday, DD did her last show for 2013 and we will miss her and Paris but we're glad they take the time off for the season.

The news that motivates the report is partially that Paris Obscur is continually developing new material and is on the verge of releasing another CD.  The drive to do this isn't because of dissatisfaction with his previous material but rather the satisfaction doesn't last and there's always the bigger drive to make an even better song.  DD is driven exactly the same way except she has no plan to release CDs because she wants only to share her music.  That's not a comparison as they simply have different goals.

So the news part is that Sister Julie was so dominated by this song that she even had me trying to help her find where to buy it.  Buying it turned out to be impossible so there's only one answer:  come to his next show in January.  You can also visit the Paris Obscur web site but "I Own You" isn't available yet there either.  However, a great deal of his music is available and it's an exceptionally well-executed Web site.

For powerful arrangements, immensely passionate vocal, and some very dark romance, there's no-one like Paris Obscur.  Don't take this to mean it's like reading something by Edgar Allen Poe as there's a lot of laughing during the course of a show.  That Paris may sing of monsters doesn't make him one of them.

(Ed:  OK, so where's the Christmas in monsters?)

Well, probably there isn't much in monsters but every concert at the MusikCircus is free and always has been.  Cat takes nothing out of Second Life beyond the satisfaction of helping musicians.
