The riots didn't even wait for the polls to close and they continued for well after. The smell of tear gas always warns you there is a Marine Le Pen rally nearby.

It seems the last American election must be the worst electoral travesty anywhere but the French are taking a major pride in this one.
Oh, God, how I love the smell of burning cars in the morning.

The demonstration, dubbed #NuitDesBarricades (Night of the Barricades) against both Macron and Le Pen, soon resulted in clashes between protesters and police. At least two protesters, including a 15-year-old girl, were reportedly injured in the scuffles.
Police said that demonstrators were throwing projectiles, bottles and firecrackers at the officers. At least three people were arrested, according to a police prefecture. Police, in turn, deployed tear gas against the demonstrators.
An organizer of the rally reportedly called upon everyone to come to protest “against Marine and against Macron.” “Whatever the outcome, we will not recognize the [the results]!” he shouted via the microphone.

Now that was exactly like America but we got no riots, just a bunch of sissy parades which didn't mean anything. That was provocative like wearing the wrong hat with your PGA Tournament dress.
The French have got it down for civil disobedience and they don't fuck around when it comes to revolution anyway.
So let's see one. Coups in banana republics were common but not so much anymore so let's see one in France. Let's go for complete anarchy and, why not, how much difference could it possibly make.

Yeah why bother with democracy
If your candidate doesn't win the free election just burn down the country
I would dare say since neither major party is in the election And the two parties running have less than 1% representation in the goverment it is a elected bloodless coup
But neither candidate is very clear.
One is a fiscal conservative and a social liberal
The other a fiscal liberal and a social ultra conservative.
Neither is truly a representative of the people but that is there system run as many as you can in the qualifier and hope the two top aren't insane. Oops didn't work they are both certifiable
Governments are collapsing everywhere but they wanted fiscal conservatism rather than civilization. Their choice to make (shrug).
Seems like Macron wants both
I just want the riots. France isn't the same without constant riots.
