EzString - Exceptionally Clever Solution to Stringing a Guitar (video)

My guitar has locking tuning keys which means the key locks down on the string so it can't slip.  It's an expensive solution as you need to buy a guitar that already has them or pay serious money to replace the keys after you buy it.  You can also get a locking nut but that's not quite the same thing.

Many acoustic guitarists have clever windings they learned from the wizard in the forest and they swear this will never slip, the wizard told me.  Yah, yah, so the mushrooms were good, you say.

You can believe the ones who were out trippin' in the forest or take a couple of minutes with this video for an incredibly simple (i.e. ingenious) solution to getting the lock effect of a locking key without buying expensive hardware.

You can buy a set directly from the EzString store for just under $20.  These guys are obviously just getting started so it would be pretty cool if you could give them a boost.
