On the TipJar for the Galactic Peace Tour

Obviously the financial situation isn't too good or I wouldn't even consider putting up a tipjar on the blog.  I don't consider it begging any more than I consider it begging in using a tipjar in Second Life when I do a musical performance.  Nevertheless, I do consider it tasteless and I didn't like seeing it there.  It's also conceivable that it would alienate people and it has been removed.

My first consideration is bringing the story of the Galactic Peace Tour to you and the second is how to pay for it.  The blog almost popped three hundred hits again yesterday (299) so that part appears to be working quite nicely.  Paying for it is not going quite so nicely but that's what makes it a good trick (laughs).

There's been some online rubbish about bilking women out of money to pay for this and it's utter rubbish as the ones who have been providing any financial support have been in my family.

My thinking is still to head for the UK as there is some potential for getting on The Dole and then Georgia can be paid by mail.  It is definitely realistic to get medical care up there, however.  It's still too cold to get across the Alps without turning into a dead person so perhaps the answer is to cross over to Italy to see if I can find someplace cheap over there.  If your concern is that I don't speak Italian, well, I don't speak much Greek either (laughs).

Update:

As to what happened to a possible RL gig here:  unknown.  Same applies to the potential for some contract programming.  There's no point in contacting Harry as he would have called if he needed to talk about it.
