Hoping Michi Renoir Knocks the Walls Down Again Tonight

The really creative ones don't play the same things over and over so you can't really predict what they will do.  Last week Michi Renoir said he would blow the walls down at Cat's Art MusikCircus and he damn sure did it in a set that started with one song at the top of the hour and he jammed it all the way to the end (Utter Musical Magic at Cat's Art MusikCircus Last Night).  It was far and away the best work I had ever heard from him as it was imaginative, skillful, powerful, and quite beautiful.

Reis and Aldo will be playing tonight and their music has all of those charms as well but they're much more consistent in delivering it.  When they deliver an amazing performance every time it's tough to come up with the words to say as in were they more amazing than last week!  That's yet another mark of a major professional in the ability to play something one has played before but to always deliver it such that it sounds fresh and new.

These performances will start tonight at 1:00 PM US Pacific Time which is 11:00 PM Eastern European Time (an hour earlier for Germany).  This will get you to the shows at the MusikCircus but you must have a Second Life account to use the link.
