There are blues you play in performance and then there are blues you play because it's time to play some blues. Sometimes people will hear that but mostly they won't.
This came from playing some tracks as I can get them into the mix from the computer at a highly-controllable level now, albeit different levels for each track. Things are roaring depressive but this was a good exercise in hearing those work out and with zero hassle.
An instrumental "Too Much or Not Enough" is screaming blue but isn't a blues beat. "Love in the Cemetery" is belting fast. These and three or four others felt exceptionally good.
Nothing was recorded and it sounded like some of it was good stuff but that gives reason to try it again for real the next time. Unknown when that comes.
